Being an American is so embarassing. Most people in this country are just shallow, greedy capitalist dolts. I hate the holidays because there's so much hype on capitalism, they make me sick.

You know what? Here in Germany we have the 5th season. always starting on 11.11. at 11:11 h, ending about three months later on Ash Wednesday. ^^

I actually find Christmas quite stressful and don't care for it at all. My family is scattered hither and yon and it's always a hassle trying to get everyone together and deciding where it will be held. Personally, I would rather hibernate until spring.

this is very true, and I'm an atheist in all scene of the word! :lmao:

I was more of thinking of Christmas in the marketing, in your face commercials and stuff, and less of in the spiritual sense of the multiple religions that it has meaning to. (cuse honestly, if I was an alien visiting earth, I'd have a really hard time telling it was tide in to religion any more just by watch TV)
