Another thing: I would change the current Masks description in the Costumery sub-category to: "Masks that are made from any material and that can be worn".

I would more suggest a new sub-category for Folding & Papercraft: Paper-mache.

It's strange there is sub-categories for the strangest things, but not for paper-mache (maybe you call differently in the USA, but I think you understand what I mean)... ^^'

Architecture: "...No drawn or rendered work is allowed. Not for drawn or rendered work..."

Basketry & Weavings: "...under and appropriate sub-category..." -> "...under an appropriate sub-category..."?

Costumery - Costumes: "...including both full and partial fur suits..." could lead to some confusion with the Anthro - Costumes gallery

Culinary Arts - Food Art = Culinary Arts - Miscellaneous

Glass: "Other" could be changed to "Miscellaneous" just to keep it the same

Textiles - Fiber-Art: a bit confusing

Cosmetic crafts needs to happen. Include candle crafting soaps butters etc etc. Candy craft too. Also break down the knits and crochet a bit more. Clothing, plush/dolls, accessories, home goods.

So, my confusion always comes for me when I try to post my own stuff. I make earrings, but I make them out of clay. I post them in the jewelry gallery, rather than the clay gallery, because that seems to make sense to me, but I know when most people think of earrings they're thinking of metal work and the like. Maybe an additional jewelry gallery under the clay gallery?

if it is meant to be worn as jewelry, it goes under jewelry. :)

Ooh I second the suggestion of a candy and chocolates subcategory in Culinary! I put mine in Misc at the moment because I don't really think they are a dessert. It would be fantastic to have a subcategory for them.

There are several gallery descriptions that have a huge paragraph reading "This gallery is for x, y and z, or for a or b. Not for j, k or l. m belongs in gallery Q." It would read much better as bullet points, particularly the "Not for" bit. The Architectural Models is the best example I can find right now; it also applies to the whole Artisan Crafts gallery description.

I'm not sure why Anthro is separate from Costumery, unless it's to prevent miscats. But it seems like it would make more sense to have Costumery > Anthro and Costumery > Other.

It would also be nice to have some subcategories under woodworking. For example, wood carving, wood turning, wood burning, things made out of wood (boxes, toys).

In the Culinary art gallery, the "Food Art" gallery has the same description as the "Miscellaneous one",eeeek! :), so an update is needed there I guess. (I'm not even sure what the "food art" category is for, I always assumed it was for heavily decorated cakes with fondant and loads of food coloring)

There's an "Artisan crafts > Miniatures" gallery which seems to cover all the areas of "Ceramic, Pottery & clay > Miniatures", so I'm not sure why there's 2 different galleries. (I think one of them is recent?)

Oops we will make sure to fix the duplicated descriptions, thanks for spotting that :)

The "Food Art" gallery also includes stuff like isomalt art [link] [link] latte art [link] food carving [link] and bento. Besides cake art of course.

The "Ceramic, Pottery & clay > Miniatures" gallery has only been around for a couple of months, I do agree that it's kind of redundant now that there's a "Artisan crafts > Miniatures" gallery so we will look into that, thank you :)

I think some people don't even know where to look for gallery descriptions, so they just put anything where ever.

I'm in the Needlework gallery most often and the biggest misplaced deviations I see are amigurumi in the knit or crochet categories. I think most people don't know amigurumi has its own category in dolls. Maybe amigurumi should be changed to Needlework since they are meant to be knit/crochet anyway? Or maybe some attention there letting others know it exists.

I also see knit and crochet in the Basketry & Weaving category. Not sure what can be done about that though.

And I've recently suggested a candy and chocolate subcategory in Culinary to.

That's all! Thanks!
