Halloween 2008 costume.. The ax was made by my wonderful sister
 .. And no, it's not real metal.. It bondo, some sorta fiberglass board and wood... Painted up real nice, with leather wrapped around the handle. Isn't she cleaver? She also did my makeup.  She does so much better then I do.. Must be her steady art hand!Every thing else was made by me. I used a MCall's pattern for the skirt, but modified it a lot (the original patter only came down to just above the knees, and was a lot narrower.) The top was a Vogue dress patter I cut of and made in to a separate top.. and the over skirt thing I just draped.. You can't see it, but I have a rather large starched petticoat up the skirt to give it more body... |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. The costume itself is stunning ( I actually like how it's blurry on the bottom of the pic), the prop is wicked cool, and to top it all off, you've even got royal hair! ^_^
