Well, now for something completely different!
I really don't know if this is the *correct* category, so if anyone has any suggestions as to better category, please say so.
A book box for my sister, for book she's about to send on a great journey around the world.. if you want to know about this journey please go here [link] . Anyway, she wanted me make something nice to protect her book on its long route.. so I made a nice little box to protect the book... Interesting experience! This is a fiberglass type board cut to size, and then covered with black velvet that was attached with adhesive spray and then was sewn on around the edges. Actually I'm quite proud of how this turned out, this got me thinking of branching out in this direction for the heck of it..

This is so neat! The book box is awesome, and so is the idea for the book. Th fiberglass will definately be light enough to keep postage down, and the velvet makes it all classy and mysterious ^_^
